OMG!! That was awesome. I love it. I just stumble upon here and there I was taken to your site. It was great looking at that pictures. Unique idea design. Hahaha…

  • Anon wrote on Sep 28, 2008 at 7:03 am

Stumble upon: Even idiots can push a button.

  • Dazzle wrote on Sep 30, 2008 at 12:08 am

what do you think the text was supposed to mean on the winnie the pooh toaster? obviously, “oh help and bother” is some sort of engrish translation.

  • Blue wrote on Sep 30, 2008 at 2:08 am

These are “shindogu” or “un-useless inventions” i have a book of them. Go buy yourself one, it is well worth it.

  • Troy wrote on Sep 30, 2008 at 9:28 am

Oh help and bother is from the Winnie the Pooh story, when he is pretending to be a cloud so he can steal some bees honey. Visit a library, it will do you wonders.

  • Matt wrote on Sep 30, 2008 at 9:45 am

Ah the anonymous comment- helping spineless idiots post an opinion on blogs everywhere. I’m guessing anon is a digg fan.

  • Anon wrote on Sep 30, 2008 at 7:07 pm

Some people don’t want to be forced to register at every website just to post a comment, Moron.

  • Pandora Kitten wrote on Oct 2, 2008 at 12:43 pm

Actually the arm around you pillow is cute and would’ve been nice when my bf was in one city and myself in another. Useless but some are rather amusing.

  • Rallie wrote on Oct 3, 2008 at 6:59 am

I second Pandora, maybe they could come up with an inflatable option for travelers leavin their lovers behind!
Although it also kind of makes you wonder if they invented that for wives whose husbands have to leave early to go to a “meeting”…with a hooker…

  • bus driver wrote on Oct 3, 2008 at 10:25 pm

i like the one with the baby mops. its about time those free loaders made themselves useful… also the last one was specially designed for bukkake actresses

  • jeri wrote on Oct 7, 2008 at 1:12 am

i’ve always thought umbrellas should really look like that. they’re almost impractical for staying dry since rain is typically accompanied by wind and therefore doesn’t fall straight down.

  • orphan wrote on Oct 8, 2008 at 8:38 pm

To Dazzle: Have you ever read Winnie the Pooh? “oh help and bother” is one of his signature lines.

  • Peter wrote on Oct 9, 2008 at 8:16 pm

    “oh help and bother”

Just Google it! (in quotation marks) and — voila, there is the answer!

  • Hollee wrote on May 5, 2009 at 10:55 am

I’ve seen the headband umbrella as an actual product. My friend has one for when she goes golfing…it’s dorky, but it does a well enough job.

  • the Don wrote on May 24, 2009 at 6:19 pm

    shopped.

  • EvilGod wrote on May 31, 2009 at 3:19 pm

I wish these pictures were always explained. Most of these are the work of a Japanese artist whose works are intentionally useful but ridiculous. They are not actually meant for use.

  • VIPer6 wrote on Jun 1, 2009 at 3:29 pm

i like those inventions. eventhough not all are useful (and i think most of them aren’t efficient enough), but i like those who invent, from people like them, grow genius like Einstein.

rather than those who play fuckin PSP or PS all nite long.. salute to this poeple (inventors)

  • Tommy P wrote on Jun 2, 2009 at 6:45 pm
